The interface provides "one-click" order entry and the 'Live" checkbox switches between simulation and live trading (comes up in simulated mode). The current release is compiled against TWS API 7.2 (and likely will not be fully functional when using it with earlier versions of the API). Before running IBTrader, please make sure that IB Trader Workstation enables access for API clients:

Or download the files locally and double-click on the jar file to start. Currently no other setup is required. Please note, that TWS must be started and the "Enable ActiveX and Socket Client" must be checked for IBTrader window to show up.
